Bigger And Bolder
Bigger And Bolder
If you read any of last week’s articles, you will be fully aware that my predictve models tend to have something of a domestic feel and that means that primarily the data driven betting is focused on competitions such as the English Premier League.
While some of you long term readers will be aware that I have often mooted the ability to scale up operations and after purchasing a new laptop over Christmas, the ability in which to do so has finally been unlocked.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
This now means that the range of Over/Under 2.5 bets can be increased across Europe and after building similar models, I can now analyse the following leagues:
English Premier League
English Championship
English League One
English League Two
English National League
Scottish Premiership
Scottish Championship
Scottish League One
Scottish League Two
French Ligue 1
German Bundesliga
Italian Serie A
Spanish La Liga
That is no fewer than 13 separate competitions and equates to the ability to analyse 117 different matches each and every weekend (on the basis that they all play) while I also have the percentage split’s of every outcome for Over/Under goals up to 9.5.
SWIMMING IN DATA
What I’ve done is split the model into three and the grouping is as follows:
English Leagues
Scottish Leagues
Major European Leagues A
While I also intend to build another Major European Leagues model which will include the following countries:
Dutch Eredivisie
Portuguese Liga NOS
Russian Premier League
Turkish Super Lig
Although I won’t be rolling that one out until later in the season, as the Russian Premier League does not resume until February and when a league is inactive, it has the ability to put the backend data sorting out of sync (more a problem for you than me)
So that’s a state of play going into these final few months of the season and the beauty is that these models are now futureproofed, which means that they can be used year after year. Something that will add further life to this project.
If anyone is interested in purchasing these model sets, I am open to discussion and can also build more to order. So all you need to do is drop me a message and I will be happy to have a chat with you. Now it’s time to sift through all that data in time for the weekend.
Happy punting and thanks for reading. Dan
